On August 28-29, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in athletics among veterans was held in Pavlodar at the Central Stadium and the PSU Stadium.

Athletes from Almaty, Nursultan, Karaganda, Mangystau and many other cities came to identify the strongest athletes in an honest and uncompromising sports struggle. Our teacher of physical culture, Sadovnik Alexey Alekseevich, took part, as he is a prize-winner of regional competitions, in the shot put, javelin, discus and hammer throwing. And he took three prizes, becoming the vice-champion of the Republic in the hammer throw and the bronze medalist in the javelin and discus throw. Congratulations!!!
