World Environment Day was established by the UN General Assembly in 1972 and has been celebrated annually by the entire world community ever since. The reason for this world action was the appeal received on May 11, 1971 by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, which was signed by 2,200 figures of science and culture from 23 countries of the world. They warned humanity of the unprecedented danger it faces from pollution. "Either we will end the pollution or it will end us," so the question was raised in this appeal. World Environment Day is a major way for the United Nations to draw global attention to environmental issues.
As part of the World Environment Day, the college held a competition: "Stop frame! Nature cries ".....
The purpose of the contest is to draw the attention of students to the fact that by our actions we destroy nature, which is already screaming for help, and this is a reason to think about the problems of the environmental situation. The competition was actively attended by students of the 1 course: Baburin K. (gr.PMT153), Isayev V., Yeseev E., Golikov P., Kasim W., Ablayev D., Olkov A. (gr.SPE152), Ryspayeva D, Salimzhan A. Students in year 2 took part in a campaign to clean up the college grounds of debris.
Today, environmental problems are among the most important and determine the level of well-being of the entire world civilization and, in particular, of our country. Therefore, it is so important to draw the attention of young people to the need to preserve clean, beautiful nature around us for future generations.
