On March 2, 2022, within the framework of the upcoming week of special disciplines, the OP AT and Communications Commission held a competition "The best in profession" of the specialty "Organization of transportation and traffic management on railway transport". The competition was attended by students of the OP-220 group Akhmetov Madiyar, Boychesco Igor, Isenova Zeynebi, Kozybakov Zhanat, Zhumabekov Nauryzbek, Cherdantseva Evnika, as well as students of the OP-320 group Sayyngazina Aidana and Fedorov Pavel.

The performance of competitive tasks took place in four stages, of which stage 1 was preparatory (homework).

During the competition, students performed tasks on the development of the technical and administrative act of the stations, solved the production tasks of the station attendant, worked with test tasks on the organization of cargo transportation.

The teachers as part of the expert jury of the competition noted the students' mastery of independent work skills when compiling some sections of the TRA station, the ability to determine the type of rolling stock by the properties of the cargo, fill out the set of transportation documents required for transportation, prepare routes for the reception and departure of trains, organize shunting work at the station and much more.

Our students prepared very responsibly to participate in the competition, unexpectedly discovering a lot of interesting things in the design of the station, learning the properties of cargo, getting acquainted with the features of the rolling stock. And the knowledge test on the simulation simulator of the DSP (station attendant) was the most interesting stage!

According to the results of the competition "The best by profession" among students of the OP groups, the places were distributed as follows:

the 1st place was taken by Sayyngazina Aidana

The 2nd place was assigned to Igor Boychesko

The 3rd place was taken by Isenova Zeynebi

All our participants showed high results in knowledge and skills of both the material studied in the lessons and the material acquired over the program.

Our participants are ready to participate in professional conferences, Olympiads and other competitions in the future.

Such professional skill contests not only give students the opportunity to evaluate their strengths, assert themselves, show their knowledge and skills, improve in their chosen profession, but also allow employers to find talented "cadres" for themselves.

Sayyngazina Aidana shared her plans for the future: "I will definitely achieve my goals and work in my chosen profession! In the future, I plan to enter a higher educational institution, work as a station attendant in my specialty, and in the future, become a station manager for career growth."
