10.12.2020. Students of the group PО-120 and ОP-220 of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications made a virtual tour to the Pavlodar Regional Museum of History and Local Lore named after G.N. Potanin.

During the virtual tour, our students visited 9 halls: the paleontology hall, the hall of modern nature, the hall of primitive archeology, the hall of nomadic civilization, the hall of Kazakh ethnography, the hall of city history, the hall, the hall of recent history, the hall of the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan revealing the history and culture of our region.

The museum's collection is based on collections: archaeological, paleontological, ethnographic, numismatics, photographic collection, documentary, natural-scientific, production, firearms and cold.

The virtual tour of the museum began with the 1st hall of paleontology, where the oldest history of the region was presented.

 

They visited the other halls.

One of the most interesting exhibits presented by ceramic dishes decorated with complex geometric ornaments, metal knives and daggers includes the reconstruction of a woman of the Bronze Age with numerous jewelry.

In the hall of "The Kazakh ethnography" plunged into the atmosphere of nomadic economy of Kazakhs, crafts, crafts.

In the center was a snow-white yurt - the most convenient and practical housing, adapted to the features of a nomadic lifestyle. In the green meadow, the figures of women are behind the traditional type of activities: grinding grain, beating kumys.

 

We looked at the life of the immigrant - a corner of a wooden hut with a Russian furnace.

 

A special place in the hall is given to the collection, five main types of traditional Kazakh weapons: spear, sequin, saber, bow, mace.

The hall "Recent History" reflects the history of our region between the two world wars.

The exposition "Victims of political repression" tells about the tragedy of the 30s - 50s of the XX century.

The exposition "Great Patriotic War" reflects the life of our region during this difficult time.

In the hall "20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" the "Complex of the First President" is exhibited.
