"Time has chosen us"

On the eve of the 34th anniversary of the entry of Soviet troops into Afghanistan, a meeting was organized with veterans of the war in Afghanistan and local wars. The participants of the meeting told about the war that went through their lives, about the bitterness of losing friends and answered students' questions.

The heroes of the meeting were Supakhunov Malik

Kairat Kakashin. The students learned about the heroism and courage of the soldiers who performed their military duty. The screen showed footage of the military chronicle, sang a song about memory on Afghan soil. The participants of the meeting observed a minute of silence in memory of those killed in Afghanistan, in all local wars and conflicts

Battles end, and history is eternal. The Afghan war and other local wars have gone down in history. But she still has a long time to live in human memory, because her story is written with the blood of soldiers and the tears of mothers. She will live in the memory of orphans left without fathers. It will live in the souls of those who participated in it.
