The Railway of Kazakhstan celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2024. Since the moment when the first train passed through the territory of our republic, the steel highway has made a giant qualitative leap forward and today plays a key role in the economic development of the country. Kazakhstan has successfully integrated into the world community and gained international recognition. Today, 11 international transit corridors pass through Kazakhstan: five by rail and six by road. The New Silk Road project, TMTM corridors, North–South are intensively developing. Traffic volumes are growing. After 120 years of intensive progressive development, the railway industry continues to make its significant contribution to the formation and strengthening of the economy of sovereign Kazakhstan. In connection with this event, today, on August 28, 2024, a solemn event was held on the basis of the Higher College of Electronics and Communication, at which about 50 railway workers were awarded various diplomas and letters of thanks. For dedication, long-term work, and achievement of the highest results in the industry, the best KTZ employees of the Pavlodar region were awarded by the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Sauranbayev Nurlan Ermekovich.
