Having opened the first public school, he called on residents to send children to schools and wrote a textbook in the Kazakh language.
In the preface "Kazakh Christomacy," the author wrote "Compiling this book, I wanted it to become a textbook for Kazakh children raised in Russian-Kazakh schools and a book accessible for universal education...."
The importance of the development of education among Kazakh youth is described by Altynsarin in many of his other works. These include the verses "Osiet olender," "Ai zhigitter," etc. In them, the author from a high moral point of view criticizes injustice, theft, the harmful nature of outdated traditions and reflects the advantage of honest work and humanity.
In the famous poem "Kel balalar ocylyk" ("Let's, children, we will learn"), the poet skillfully used the traditions of Kazakh oral literature, comparing knowledge and ignorance, good and evil.
His works to this day serve as the basis of the modern educational system.
The writer describes ideas about morality with aesthetic education, interconnecting them with each other.
