From November 11 to November 15, 2019 in the capital Nur Sultan, was held the V Republican competition of professional skills WorldSkills Kazakhstan - 2019, where from all over the country the best specialists of their business in the most demanded professions gathered.

The main purpose of such a grandiose forum was to raise the level of standards of professional training and qualification, as well as to popularize working professions.

A total of 38 competences were officially declared for the competition, including Mobile Robotics. Under this competence 11 teams participated, two participants from each team, i.e. 22 participants in total. Pavlodar region in this competence was represented by the team of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications, Moger Ivan and Shirik Jan.

  

Our students following the results of the V Republican championship Worldskills Kazakhstan - 2019 took the third place (719 points) and were awarded bronze medals.

Our children with a small distance gave to teams from Akmola region (752 points - the first place, gold medals) and East Kazakhstan (722 points - the second place, silver medals).

"Such a project can change not only the course of your training, but also career plans and even your life if robotics becomes a favorite thing," - said Moger Ivan. "Competitions stimulate interest in science and high technology, and the spirit of competition gives additional motivation," Shirik Jan argues.

The success of the team was facilitated by the long preparation both at home, in the native walls of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications of Pavlodar, and the preparation on the basis of the Federal network of robotics sections "League of Robots" of Novosibirsk and the innovation center "Dosty" of Almaty.

  

Ahead at children qualifying tournament among teams which took the first, second and third places which will take place in Almaty on the basis of Innovation center "Dosty"

The winners of the qualifying tournament will represent Kazakhstan at the International Championships. And they are also expected to participate in the European Championship in Austria and the Asian Championship, which next year will take place in the United Arab Emirates.

We wish our team a successful performance in the qualifying tournament and a victory at the International Championships.
