May 1 is the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan! Today we celebrated this bright holiday together in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Aliya Karibayevna Sagatova, Acting Head of the K.B. Darzhuman School of National Revival, delivered a welcoming speech. The guests of the event were the pupils of the Friendship House, who prepared a bright concert program. Songs, dances and national melodies were performed on the stage, reflecting the richness of cultures and traditions of all peoples living in our country. Galiya Karibayeva Sagitova spoke about the activities of diasporas and ethno-cultural associations, the importance of preserving native languages, customs and cultural values. Kazakhstan is home to more than 130 ethnic groups, and each of them makes a unique contribution to the development and future of our Homeland. Such events foster mutual understanding, respect and true friendship between representatives of different cultures.
