From February 24 to February 28, 2025, our educational institution will host a week of special disciplines of the cyclic commission "Software and Technical Education" (Software and computer technology). This is an important event for students and schoolchildren, which is aimed at deepening knowledge and developing practical skills in the field of information technology and programming. 1. Goals and objectives of the week The week of Special Disciplines is organized with the aim of in-depth study of key aspects of disciplines related to software and computing. Students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with new trends in technology, apply theoretical knowledge in practice and improve their preparation for future professional activities. The event also covers schoolchildren, which makes it possible to interest them in professions related to the IT field. 2. Program of the week The following events are planned during the week:: • Master classes for schoolchildren: Master classes will be organized for schoolchildren in the following areas:: o Robotics: Getting to know the basics of robotics, creating simple robots, and programming them. o Creating computer games: The basics of game development, familiarization with game engines and programming. o Programming: An introduction to the world of programming, creating simple applications and algorithms. • Contests among schoolchildren: During the week, a competition will be held among schoolchildren, in which they will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in various fields of IT. The contest participants will demonstrate a creative approach to solving problems and creativity in the field of information technology. • Information technology competition among students of the specialty OP, S, V, PML: Students of the specialties "Operating Systems", "Network Technologies", "Computing Systems" and "Programming and Machine Learning" will take part in the competition, which will demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills in working with the latest information technologies. • Olympiad in programming among students of the second year of the specialty "Software": Second-year students majoring in Software Engineering will compete in the Programming Olympiad. This is a great opportunity for them to show their skills in solving algorithmic problems and demonstrate a high level of training. • Bytes of Knowledge contest among first-year students of the Software specialty: A competition will be held for first-year students of the Software specialty, in which they will be able to test their knowledge of the basics of programming and information technology. 3. Technological innovation A special feature of the current week is the use of modern technologies to improve the organization and enhance the convenience of participants. Thus, a system with QR codes will be used to control the entry of participants, which will allow recording late students and schoolchildren in the database and improve the organization of events. Additionally, using QR codes, participants will be able to: • Take photos with virtual 3D models: Using special QR codes, it will be possible to interact with 3D models and take photos with them, which will add an element of interactivity and fascination to the event. • View the menu in the dining room: Each QR code will provide access to the current menu for the current day, which will allow participants to quickly find out what dishes are offered in the dining room. Conclusion The week of special disciplines of the cyclic commission "PO and VTB" is a unique opportunity for students and schoolchildren to expand their horizons in the field of software and computing technologies. Events such as workshops, contests, and Olympiads contribute to deepening knowledge, developing practical skills, and preparing students for the challenges of the future. Thanks to the use of modern technologies and innovative methods of events, students and schoolchildren will be able to gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical experience that will be useful in their further professional activities.
