The main topic for discussion was the programs initiated by the President and new tasks for further modernization of the state. Kassym–Jomart Tokayev in his address outlined specific areas of reforms, namely, a new economic policy, the main purpose of which is to improve the welfare of the people, and one of the theses that: "Every family should get a real return from using the national wealth of the country. I propose to deduct 50% of the annual investment income of the National Fund to special savings accounts of children up to the age of 18, without the right of early withdrawal. Upon reaching the age of majority, the accumulated amounts will be used for the purchase of housing and education. These funds will give the younger generation a real ticket to adulthood. I instruct you to launch the project from January 1, 2024." Of particular interest and response among students was the President's thesis that: "The growing consumption of synthetic drugs poses a great threat to the health of the nation ..." "... Taking into account the scale of this extremely dangerous social disease, the fight against the production and distribution of synthetic drugs should take a nationwide character. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive plan to combat drug addiction and drug trafficking."
