Today, on May 20, 2022, explanatory work was carried out with students regarding the upcoming vote at the upcoming republican referendum.

As you know, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during an appeal to the population about amendments to the Constitution, announced that the referendum would be held on June 5, 2022.

"Today I signed a decree on holding a republican referendum on June 5 on the adoption of amendments and additions to the Constitution. The universal vote of citizens on the draft constitutional amendments will demonstrate our firm commitment to democratic principles. The upcoming referendum will allow every citizen to take a direct part in the historical event that will determine the future of Kazakhstan," Kassym–Jomart Tokayev said.

In essence, amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan mean the transition of Kazakhstan to a qualitatively new model of formation and interaction of government institutions, the establishment of a new political culture, as well as more operational interaction with the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In this connection, the students of the HCEaC who have reached the age of majority have received the necessary information regarding the amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and are ready to fulfill their civic duty in the upcoming elections of the republican referendum.
