Students from a circle of robotics of Pavlodar college of transport and communications became a gold prize winners of the IV International festival of robotics, programming and innovative technologies “RoboLand-2018”.

The festival was held on March, 30-31 in a sports complex Zhastar of Karaganda and has brought together this year more than 1500 participants from regions of Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, Kyrgyzstan. It is one of the largest robotic actions of year.

    

About 800 teams of students and schoolchildren competed on 32 categories for beginners and skilled teams, including on soccer of robots, maneuvering of quadrocopters, programming of bots, dances of robots, ABSOLUTE rally. Fights for superiority happened on the ground of water robots, sumo of GRAND of giant robots, in virtual reality and other categories. Absolutely young participants aged from 6 years also have participated in competitions.

    

 For the first time for Kazakhstan the organizational moments have been transferred to an electronic format – from registration of participating teams through QR codes till online broadcast and fixing of results of performances of teams in electronic protocols.

The skilled team of our athletes - students from a circle of robotics PCTIC, - more than once won in the past of an award of the RoboLand festival, and this year has shown high level of training again. Our students have supported honor of college:

- Omarov Tamirlan, Sekretarev Nikita, Chernyshev Oleg, Kurylenko Vadim (PO414);

- Leshchik Lilia, Moger Ivan (E117);

- Pomorzin Anton (graduate of 2017), Pomorzin Mikhail.

The coach of the team is Smirnov Evgeny Aleksandrovich.

 Gold medal of the International RoboLand-2018 festival in the category "Engineers of the future – 3D" the detail which is with own hand made on the 3D-printer with the best quality within 75 minutes has brought Moger Ivan (E117).

   

The water robot of Sekretarev Nikita and Chernyshev Oleg (PO414) has easily bypassed in the speed and maneuverability of the rivals, has surely taken the first place of rating and has brought to participants a victory and the Gold cup of a festival.
