On October, 2 in Kazakhstan is the date of annual celebration of The Day of vocational training.
This day is celebrated since on October 2, 1940 was ratified the decree "About the State Manpower Reserves of the USSR" by the Presidium of SS of the USSR.
According to this decree all schools were divided into three types. At schools of the factory training (FT) preparation was conducted 6 or 10 months, and in vocational and railway schools – 2 years. There were also special vocational schools in which the term of training lasted from 3rd to 4 years, and in art schools – 3 years. Gathered in these institutions in two ways: appeal or at will.
For 78 years of development in the system of vocational training there were considerable changes. Since 2017 the project - "Free Vocational Training for All" is implemented, the youth is recruited in "Programs of development of productive employment and mass business", considerable attention is paid to cooperation of the TIPO educational institutions and employers in development of relevant training programs.
Today demand for experts of technical orientation who can work with the difficult equipment on hi-tech productions grows every day, and the authority of professional educational institutions begins to revive.
