June 25-26 in honor of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

In the KGP at the Higher College of Electronics and Communications, an online information clock "Say NO to drugs" is held.

Purpose: To provide students with information about the negative effects, negative consequences of narcotic substances, to familiarize them with the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In order to focus attention on the problem of a global scale, to unite forces against the spread of the "black death", the International Conference on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, 1987 developed a long-term action plan for the improvement of the entire society and the prevention of drug use.

Drugs, psychotropic and toxic drugs have become not only a problem of an individual, but also of the entire world community. The use of narcotic and toxic drugs leads to moral degradation of the individual, physically destroys the body and eventually leads to death.

The law introduced a new norm into the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Propaganda or illegal advertising of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, precursors" (Article 299-1 of the Criminal Code), which provides for liability of up to 3 years of imprisonment.

Illegal advertising of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors should be understood as: dissemination of information about the places or methods of their purchase, quality, price and other properties.

"The commission of a crime by a group of persons, or repeatedly, as well as in educational organizations or at objects of mass gathering of people; or with the use of mass media or electronic information resources, as well as with the use of official position — entails from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment."

According to the results of the online information hours, our students got acquainted with the information received, violation of the Law leads to Criminal Liability.
