For more than ten days, the webinar Temasek Foundation - NYPi - Kazakhstan "Heads of Department Program on Innovations in Teaching & Learning STEM" was held with the participation of 180 people from different regions of Kazakhstan, among them five people represented Pavlodar region. One of the participants of Kulakhmetova Sandugash Amantaevna is the deputy head for educational work of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications.

The name of the project: "Implementation of the STEM model of education - a motivating environment of engineering and technical orientation for gifted children."

The introduction of STEM education will increase interest and create a motivational environment for students through the use of digital equipment, engineering designers, metapedmet connections.

The main idea of ​ ​ the project is the integration of STEM education into the professional space as a resource for the formation of engineering thinking and modern competencies of the 21st century.

The STEM model of education should cover lesson, out-of-hours and supplementary education. STEM education are cyclograms of metapedmet lessons, a network of research laboratories, circles, communities that support the scientific, technical and engineering components. The project is designed to increase the interest of students in engineering and technical specialties and motivate students to continue their education in the scientific and technical field.
