Today, February 14, 2022, on the eve of the Day of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, a meeting was held at our college with participants of the Afghan war, professional military: Isenov Marat Kabdylmazhitovich, Imilianov Sergey Viktorovich.
The Afghan war ended on February 15, 1989. But every year on this day, hundreds of veterans of the Afghan war gather at the monument to the internationalist soldiers to remember their fallen comrades, to meet with the surviving combat friends.
The guests told about their life now, 33 years after the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, told about their most terrible memories of that time, and how important it is to appreciate peace without war.
The students asked their questions, and the guests willingly answered them.
Celebrating today the Day of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, I would like to wish the soldiers- participants in the fighting in Afghanistan - good health. We will always remember your feat.
