On 28.04.22, the Republican Online Olympiad "Highway of the Future 2022" was held at the Higher College of Electronics and Communications in the specialty "Organization of transportation and traffic management on railway transport".

The main goals and objectives of the Olympiad are to improve the quality of professional training, increase the prestige of specialties (professions) of technical and service work, promote the system of vocational education and training of the republic, identify and support gifted students. 97 applications were submitted for participation. 85 students of the following colleges took part in the final stage:

- Aktobe College of Transport, Communications and New Technologies, Aktobe

- Ekibastuz Polytechnic College, Ekibastuz

- Karaganda Temirzhol Colleges, Karaganda

- Petropavlovsk College of Mechanical Engineering and Transport named after Bayken Ashimov , Petropavlovsk

The Olympiad was held in Google forms. The test questions were written in the state and Russian languages. The competitive tasks included questions of such disciplines as "Technical operation and traffic safety", "Organization of railway transport", "Organization of freight and commercial work".
