For two days in the period from October 26 to 27, 2020, within the framework of the Regional Professional Excellence Competition "WorldSkills Pavlodar - 2020" on the basis of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications, one of the competency competitions "Mobile Robotics" was held, in which teams of three educational institutions took part: Pavlodar Higher College of Management, College of Information Technology and Higher College of Electronics and Communications.

 

 

  

Unlike most competencies of the Regional Championship "WorldSkills Pavlodar - 2020" in this competence, not individual participants representing educational institutions, but teams of two people took part. The Higher College of Electronics and Communications team was represented by Eginbay Ergali Sagindikuly and Bolatov Almas Zhanatuly. Both members of the training group E-417. According to the competition program, on the first day of the competition there were: safety training, draw and assembly of the main design of a mobile robot. At the end of the first day, participants were evaluated. On the second day, the following were carried out: debugging control systems, test runs at the training ground and performing competitive tasks such as manual control of a mobile robot and telecontrol. And just like on the first day of the competition, at the end of the second day, the contestants were evaluated and the results were summed up.

  

According to the results of two days of the competition, the points between the teams were distributed as follows:

- Pavlodar Higher College of Management - 64.97;

- "College of Information Technology" - 18.03;

- "Higher College of Electronics and Communications" - 16.77.

As a result, the team of the Higher College of Electronics and Communications, according to the competence of Mobile Robotics, took third place at the Regional Professional Excellence Competition "WorldSkills Pavlodar - 2020."
