October 27, 2020 at the Higher College of Electronics and Communications held the regional championship WorldSkills Pavlodar - 2020 in the competence "Network and System Administration" in online format.

Network and system administration requires extensive knowledge of information technology. Due to the rapid development of this area, the requirements for administrators are constantly increasing.

The competition program for this competence consisted of five modules:

- "Module 1" - Network configuration;

- "Module 2" - Configuration of domain controller;

- "Module 3" - Internet gateway configuration;

- "Module 4" - Client computer configuration;

- "Module 5" - Cloud Storage Setup

Participants demonstrated the following skills by profession:

Install and configure wireless devices, switches, routers, and information security;

Use a wide range of operating systems and server software;

Effectively organize secure connections of enterprise networks, access to the Internet;

Install and configure protocol-based network services;

Install, configure, and maintain virtual environments;

Perform troubleshooting of information systems and networks;

Organize information protection against unauthorized access.

   

The competence "Network and System Administration" was attended by a student of the group PO-418 specialty 1304000 "Computing and Software" Lyubenko Vitaly.
