"It is necessary to actively develop technical and vocational education. Within the framework of the Zhas Maman project, we are updating the material and technical base of 180 colleges. The program of free vocational technical education annually covers 100 thousand students.

...Other important reforms in the TVE should be the introduction of academic independence, the transition to a credit system, the introduction of per capita financing..."

(From the speech of the Head of State K.Tokayeva at the third meeting of the National Council of Public Trust on May 27, 2020)

As part of the implementation of the national project "Quality Education" "Educated Nation" Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2021 No. 726 NJSC "Talap" continues to work on professional development in the TVE system.

Deputy heads of educational institutions of the Pavlodar region of the TVE have been taking advanced training courses on the educational program "Efficiency of educational work in organizations of technical and vocational, post-secondary education" since 11/15/2021. One of the students is Kulakhmetova Sandugash Amantayevna - Deputy Head of Academic Affairs of the MSE on REM at the Higher College of Electronics and Communications. The coach of the course is Kalieva Gulmira Zhaksylykovna.

In addition to classroom classes, the course program includes practical training on the basis of educational institutions in the region. It is also organized for students to practice on the basis of a partner college within the framework of training.

What will the introduction of academic independence, the transition to a credit system, the introduction of per capita financing in the TVE system give?

First, the programs will be updated by 100%

The second is the ability to flexibly respond to the needs of the labor market and, as a result, a quick entry into the labor market

Thirdly, the establishment of individual learning trajectories

Fourth, the transition from a modular competence-based approach to a credit-modular one, i.e. the initial definition of the learning outcome.

Colleges will receive academic freedom, which will allow changing the content of educational programs, shorten the duration of study, improve the quality of education, and allow students to work faster

The duration of training in various qualifications will depend on the specific educational program and the required learning outcomes. Colleges, in agreement with employers, will draw up educational programs based on professional standards or market requirements, place them in the register of programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and, depending on them, train personnel.

In general, I would like to note that this will allow us to adapt to technological changes in production and the demands of the labor market, and the TVE system will train specialists who will meet the requirements of employers.
